White Hart
An old pub, formerly Owd Boots but now back to its original name. A shame. Quite a neglected pub. Pool table, large rooms. Evidence of a DJ but there were more flies than drinkers. No real ale. You wonder how long it can survive like this.
Dr's. Orders
Nottingham's first micro-pub! A new concept sweeping across the country inspired by the old tradition of pubs being a front room of a house. No bar. Waiter service from your host. Conversation with other drinkers encouraged. Gravity real ale only. No lager. No wine. No food. No mobile phones. Comfortably appointed. Seats around 25 drinkers. A great idea! Beer was great.

Horse and Groom
The best pub in Nottingham. Bar none. Lots of reasons...great beer, history; it was the brewery tap for Shipstone's brewery, a warm welcome every time, it's clean, a lovely snug, decent function room, loads of old beer and brewery memorabilia and a good crowd of regulars that make this place feel like a proper pub where blokes enjoy a decent pint and chat about football. And there'a always some classic old tunes on too.
